Buckwheat is eaten for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Lithuania, so it seemed inevitable that it would find its way into our chocolate bars. Its taste certainly leaves no one indifferent – some hate it, others tell dark jokes, and still others miss it when they go abroad. Although this crop only began to be cultivated in Lithuania in the 18th century, it seems as if it has been with us since ancient times.
The gentle crunch of buckwheat combines with nutty cocoa flavors, and finally, buckwheat honey, gathered by our beloved bees, crowns it all.
Ingredients: cocoa beans*, sugar*, cocoa butter*, skimmed milk powder*, buckwheat* (8%), buckwheat honey (6%), butter*. May contain traces of hazelnuts. Cocoa solids 50% minimum.
