We are not only manufacturers, but also farmers – we keep bees near our manufactory. In Lithuania, bees have always been respected; even the synonym for our friend comes from the word 'bee' [bičiulis - a close friend]. We admire the quality and speed of their work, as well as their divine-tasting honey. We have already experimented with aging cocoa in a beehive left by bees, and this season we are introducing an even more interesting experiment – chocolate made from cocoa that lived in active beehives.
In 2025, cocoa from Tanzania, specifically from the Kokoa Kamili social enterprise, known for its honey and stone fruit aromas, lived in bee homes. Bees love coffee, and we hope they will also love the aromas of Tanzanian cocoa! As you know, a beehive is a separate manufactory where a continuous life buzzes during the warm season – bees carry nectar from flowers in our fields, warm the home with their bodies, build, glue, produce, dry honey with their wings, and nurture... We have no doubt that this collaboration of manufactories will result in an even more wonderful outcome – a fragrant, unique chocolate flavor, aged in active beehives, representing the Baltic region.
