The Davao region of Mindanao island is called the Cacao Capital of the Philippines. Here, amidst tropical rains and typhoons, cacao has been cultivated for over 300 years – the longest in all of Asia.
The Filipino beans came from the village of Paquibato, where the cacao trees are protected from harsh weather conditions by the forest and coconut palms. In 2019, these beans won an award as one of the top 20 best cacaos in the world – the first time the Philippines was recognized for quality.
Our chocolate is characterized by a dried fruit flavor and an undeniably creamy texture.
